J.H. Sitton

 J.H. Sitton weaves through americana, country and blues with a dark thread, creating an other-worldly landscape through poignant lyrics and heartrending deep, melodic guitar. Heavy with emotional imagery, his words meander through the rooms of his mind, comforting the listener that there is someone out there in the darkness.

 From Oklahoma originally, and now based in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Sitton's music has evolved through passing time and miles. There is urgency and passion, balanced with reflection and perspective. His songs recall his heroes, Dylan and the Velvet Underground, while showing his singular character and sound.

 His new album, Ghost Inside Of You, was recorded in the unlikely setting of Ventura, California in July 2019, but holds the vastness of the Delta throughout.
